If you have Internet, forget about television or radio like you had known it up till now. Thanks to the BitTorrent protocol you can do something more than download files: you can access more than 50 channels from all over the world, thanks to the StreamTorrent broadcasts from many users.

  StreamTorrent is as easy to use as any other torrent client, with the difference that instead of download any file, what we will do is play one of the available channels. Like when we download a file from the BitTorrent net, we must check the amount of seeds (the amount of people that are sharing this video channel, for this case), and the number of peers, the amount of people that are viewing this channel, because this determines the quality of the reproduction.

  Once we install the application, we must wait till it connects to the net. Once this has happened, we will be able to search the channels by theme: Movies, Sports, News, Radio, General, Finance,... From the list of channels found, all we have to do is select the one we are interested in, and wait for the buffer to load to be able to enjoy the broadcast.
